Concentration (2 player card game)

Objective: Concentration is a memory card game where players try to match pairs of cards. The objective is to have the most pairs at the end of the game.

Setup:

1. Use a standard deck of 52 cards.
2. Shuffle the deck and place all cards face down on a flat surface.
3. Determine who goes first.

Gameplay:

1. Player 1’s Turn:

   • Player 1 starts by flipping over two cards from the deck, revealing their face value and suit.
   • If the two cards match (i.e., have the same value and suit), Player 1 keeps the pair and scores a point. They then get another turn.
   • If the two cards do not match, Player 1 flips them back face down in their original positions, and it becomes Player 2’s turn.

2. Player 2’s Turn:

   • Player 2 follows the same process as Player 1, flipping over two cards and trying to match pairs.
   • If Player 2 successfully matches a pair, they keep the cards and score a point. Otherwise, the cards are flipped back face down, and it becomes Player 1’s turn again.

3. Scoring:

   • Players earn one point for each pair they successfully match.
   • Keep track of each player’s points throughout the game.

4. Game Continues:

   • Players take turns flipping over pairs of cards, trying to match as many pairs as possible.
   • The game continues until all pairs have been matched.

5. Winning the Game:

   • Once all pairs have been matched, count the number of pairs each player has collected.
